The SmartCare team
The SmartCare team is dedicated to providing a professional service to all clients, fulfilling their care needs to the highest possible standard. At SmartCare we believe our care workers are the most important part of our business. All staff undergo a stringent selection process, and comprehensive background check. Our care workers are chosen for their experience, cheerful disposition, attention to detail, reliability and dedication to the special needs of our clients. In line with government legislation, all care workers are trained or qualified to NVQ2 and above. They are required to attend courses specialising in Alzheimer’s, dementia, stroke and learning disabilities. All of our candidates must also supply appropriate references, which are checked thoroughly.
Arranging care in 4 easy steps
We treat all of our clients as individuals, and tailor our care and support according to their needs. Our free assessment indicates the level of care required, whether it be just an hour a day, or round the clock care. We believe that arranging care shouldn’t be complicated, in fact it takes just 4 easy steps:-
1. Give us a call
We will arrange an appointment for you to see our registered care manager, at one of our offices, at a time to suit you.
2. Informal meeting
You are invited to attend an informal meeting, where we can discuss your (or your loved one’s) care requirements. We will then formulate an outline care package for your needs (there is no charge for this service).
3. Needs assessment
We will visit you in your home to finalise your requirements and identify a local care worker with the appropriate skills. Once again, there is no charge for this service.
4. Care plan
Finally, we will prepare a written proposal that clearly outlines our suggested care plan. This shows our commitment to you, and includes costs, terms & conditions, and also a starting date. You can subsequently decide whether to accept our proposal, and it is only at this stage that we seek commitment.
